About the Role

Hack The Box is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to help us expand our customer base in three fast-growing areas: accounts under $1B in revenue, universities, and state/local agencies. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and business development background that enables them to drive engagement at all levels with technical and non-technical buyers.

As a Commercial Account Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing against a comprehensive account/territory plan as well as driving sales to achieve revenue targets. The person in this role will also assist in creating and articulating compelling value propositions for Hack The Box services.


Responsibilities

  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Develop a growth strategy/territory plan focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Establish long-term strategic relationships with key accounts

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience selling technical solutions or products to the mid-market accounts, universities or state/local agencies
  • Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles
  • Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms (technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus)
  • Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skill for making initial contact, ongoing communication with customers and business associates and company presentations, meetings, etc.
  • Experience in the SaaS market is a must and Cyber Security experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create, progress and close opportunities with good CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting
