About the Role

We're looking for product-centric QA Test Analyst to join one of our cross-functional squads. We currently have 3 squads which have their own goals relating to different areas of the product and are empowered to deliver on these goals from idea through to production release. Each squad contains a product manager, product designer, QA, data analyst and frontend/app/backend developers.

We work in an agile way and we want someone who is enthusiastic about taking an active part in agile practices and processes, and working with the team to identify improvements to the way we work.

You will contribute to ideation and product discovery sessions, providing input on the MVP design and implementation of features. You will be working closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure that user stories are well defined and there is a shared understanding of the requirements. Then performing cross-browser and cross-platform functional testing for our mobile app and website based on these user stories. As well as triaging and raising clear bugs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of QA Test Analyst experience, testing web and mobile applications.
• Able to collaborate with team to turn product stories into test cases.
• Experience of working in a similar cross-functional product team.
• You must have the right to work in the UK. TrustedHousesitters cannot provide sponsorship at this time.

Bonus

• Experience with automation.
• Experience testing APIs using Insomnia, Postman, or similar.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS selectors and javascript to assist in maintaining our suite of code-less end-to-ends (using Mabl).
• Experience writing user stories in Gherkin syntax.
