To support our growth, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Full Stack Developer to join our remote-first team. We're seeking someone with a deep understanding of Java and real-time programming skills, including proficiency in multithreading, queues, and knowledge of MODBUS, OPC-UA, MQTT protocols. What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time data processing and interactive web applications using Java and other relevant technologies.
• Implement and optimize real-time communication and data exchange using protocols like MODBUS, OPC-UA, and MQTT.
• Collaborate closely with our development teams to build and integrate scalable and efficient embedded solutions in the renewable energy sector.
• Provide leadership and mentorship in real-time system development within our software engineering team
• Make a real impact in the way we do SRE as our lead SRE
• You'll create services that ensure millions of people have access to clean, renewable energy

What we are looking for:

• Smart and gets things done
• At least three years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on real-time systems
• Expertise in Java programming (or any other strongly-typed, object oriented platform) including experience with multithreading and managing queues.
• Skill in development on Linux servers using Docker.
• Strong knowledge of some communication protocols, such as MODBUS, OPC-UA, and MQTT
• Versatility -- we are growing and building our practices as we go!
• Experience working with high-performance teams
• Demonstrable contributions to significant projects or FOSS initiatives (e.g., on GitHub)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work remotely. Fluent English written and spoken (e.g. C2).
