About Bits

Bits is a Y Combinator backed startup that helps you build credit. More than 250,000 people use our beautifully designed app to manage their credit score and shop in our store.

Credit only exists in computer code. We’re trying to bring it to life so humans can start understanding what credit really is. One of the ways we do this is through our Bits School of Credit which is a free financial education resource in the app.

We believe that everyone has a right to access financial services that work for them, but many people are factored out because of confusing wording, unclear product descriptions and hidden fees.
