About The Scale Factory

The Scale Factory was established in London in 2009. Since then, our team of experienced AWS solutions architects have helped organisations of all sizes design, build and manage the foundations of their SaaS businesses.

The Scale Factory provides consulting services to help companies provide internet services to customers in a scalable, reliable and cost-effective manner.

Clients include all kinds of companies - from start-ups to high profile international organisations - in many different industries, including broadcast, print and new media, financial services, B2B and B2C e-commerce, communications, entertainment and many more.

We’re an Amazon Web Services Advanced Consulting Partner. We work exclusively with AWS. No other cloud platforms, no on-premises or colo infrastructure. Life’s too short to be expert at everything. Specialising in AWS means that we’ve been able to invest in developing deep expertise in that one ecosystem.

We’re a remote-first team, and always have been. We have a small HQ in London Bridge, and our AWS certified engineers and solutions architects live and work across the UK and parts of Europe. Besides having realised the benefit remote working holds for many people a while ago, this approach supports one of our core values: to put people first.
