What to expect: Join one of our development teams and together with your teammates create new features for our main products - time tracking tools for software engineers - and all 7pace Apps.

How your day-to-day work will look like:

We adopted elements of Atlassian QA techniques, so your day-to-day work will not be like for a typical QA engineer:

• Starting your day with a daily standup via zoom
• Help our developers to identify quality risks for tasks taken in progress by creating testing notes
• Make sure that completed features have desired quality by organizing QA demos
• Perform regular regression testing sessions
• Participating in release process, running smoke tests
• Prepare and update check-lists
• Participating in checking and writing auto-tests (end-to-end, integration, REST API)
• Interact with Product Owners, Developers and Designers to ensure a good workflow
• Participating in biweekly team-meetings to present team-output and plan the upcoming period (remote, via zoom)
• Support team-mates and do code review
• Participating in our regular "tech bazar" for knowledge transfer

• Azure DevOps / GitHub / Docker / Kubernetes (including CI/CD automation)

Requirements

• Experience in manual web applications testing (minimum 1 year)
• Understanding of QA theory and specifics of testing web applications
• Ability and willingness to explain and teach QA techniques to software engineers
• Upper-intermediate level of English, good communication skills

Preferable:

• Experience in testing automation (REST API / UI / integration / load testing) (we help and foster to develop those skills internally)
• Understanding .NET stack specifics and experience with SQL (MSSQL)
• Acknowledgement of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker / Kubernetes
