About the role

  • Support internal service desk resources and client IT staff for escalated technical issues
  • Deploy new instances of MDM software such as VMware WorkspaceONE, Intune, and SOTI
  • Administer MDM software to ensure configurations are appropriate to client requirements
  • Troubleshoot technical problems with MDM software and how mobile devices interact with it
  • Configure and deploy supporting solutions such as security apps and platforms
  • Gather hardware, software and services requirements from clients and design solutions
  • Provide necessary technical documentation, occasionally creating it if needed
  • Interact with client IT staff as needed, either for technical support or as a technical resource engaged during the sales process
  • Provide technical guidance and training to Acuity sales and technical support staff
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in mobile technology platforms and emerging solutions
  • Serve as technical liaison to vendors for products and customer support issues

Ideal candidate

  • 3-5 years’ experience with enterprise mobility platforms such as AirWatch, Intune, SOTI, Maas360, and MobileIron, with MDM or EMM certifications such as VCP desired
  • Experience setting up and administering enrollment automation platforms such as Apple’s ADE/DEP, Samsung’s KME, and Google’s ZeroTouch Enrollment
  • Working knowledge of enterprise IT systems such as Active Directory and network technologies such as TCP/IP, VPN, and WiFi, as well as experience integrating MDM platforms into these technologies
  • Solid understanding of mobile security strategies and products
  • Experience with Apple iOS/iPadOS and Google Android operating systems
  • Strong ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with customers at all levels
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer retention skills
  • Experience with ServiceNow and ConnectWise a plus
  • IT management certifications such as ITIL a plus
