About the role

  • Invoice collection and review for key clients
  • Perform client service-like functions when needed to resolve client inquiries
  • Respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Effectively communicate with team members, and management
  • Develop and document procedures and processes as needed
  • Analyze reoccurring issues and assist in developing process improvements
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases
  • Process payment and accounting entries
  • The ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Participate in and/or lead projects as assigned
  • Coordinate and support training for new staff
  • Compile metrics for weekly & monthly reporting to senior management
  • Act as a back-up team lead for day-to-day functions and billing initiatives
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Perform monthly internal compliance requirements
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation

Ideal candidate

  • The ideal candidate will have some bill review experience and the desire to increase their knowledge surrounding Telecom billing forensics vastly
  • Prefer, but not necessary: Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Finance, or Accounting
  • Any amount of work experience in Telecom billing will be beneficial
  • Ideally, 2-5 years experience in the Telecom billing industry is preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to take ownership of problems and lead problem resolution
  • Desire to develop expertise in the complex Telecom billing industry
  • Demonstrate the desire to investigate and reconcile client to carrier dispute issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and clients
  • Understanding of operations, internal controls and risk management
  • Advanced PC skills including MS O365 apps - TEAMS, Excel, Planner
  • Proven aptitude to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Trustworthy with confidential information
