At AllTakes, our mission is to empower people to live their best lives by discovering activities and sharing skills while creating meaningful connections.

We are creating an online universe that supports women entrepreneurs (aka “guides”) to build community-oriented businesses where people engage in activities that have a positive impact on their lives. Guides range from business coaches and meditation practitioners to chefs, dating gurus and art teachers - all helping people participate in a variety of experiences that are mindful and fulfilling.

We are taking the real world online: making main street global. Guides can build studios that they own and operate, much like they would manage their shop on main street. For users, we foster safe and inclusive communities, where they get to know people to exchange ideas and discover new experiences - much like you would in a real life neighborhood.

The Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join us in building an immersive consumer-facing product. You will need familiarity with or willingness to learn how to build and deploy on AWS, primarily using Javascript or Python. On AWS, we use products such as Lambda, Dynamodb, CloudFormation and Amplify. We are looking for people who are comfortable working in ambiguity, are excited about building from the ground up and open to learning new technologies. Responsibilities

• Build and scale features and services needed to create a unique experience for users
• Develop and own the design and implementation of major areas of the company’s offerings
• Help define and extend the core processes used by the team
• Implement new tooling, test frameworks, and automation for developers
• Design and code significant new functionality spanning multiple features
• Work together with a variety of cross-functional teams to create great user experiences while achieving business goals
• Break down a feature design into component tasks and guide other developers on execution
• Mentor developers on creating new designs and gathering feedback
• Work in multiple areas of the tech stack, from database design/implementation, REST API design/implementation, other general infrastructure
• Investigate and integrate third-party solutions where reasonable
• Build and Deploy on AWS

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Physics, Math, Engineering, Chemistry or related field
• 3+ years experience building and deploying infrastructure and features in a production, cloud-based environment
• 2+ years of strong architectural and system design skills in Full Stack/Backend technologies such as Javascript (Node.js, Typescript) or Python
• Prior experience in a cloud-based environment and experience with or willingness to learn AWS
• REST API design and implementation using Javascript or Python
• Agile software development experience
