Who We Are:

Started by Stanford Engineering PhDs and grown out of non-profit work in Africa, Arch is a venture-backed company working with the world's largest electronics manufacturers. We combine rich data from all machines, new and legacy, to drive real time and predictive analytics transforming manufacturing efficiency and how we work.

We are looking for talented and driven people who seek a lasting impact both in transforming manufacturing operations as well as making critical industries more efficient, connected, and sustainable. Come join our diverse and passionate team!

What You'll Do:

As the Recruiting Coordinator at Arch, you will play a critical role in creating an incredible candidate experience from initial contact through their first day. You will partner with our in-house and contingent recruiters to move candidates efficiently through the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for candidates, scheduling interviews, relaying information, and guiding them through the process.
  • Own our Applicant Tracking System (Breezy), ensuring that all documents are up to date and that key metrics are accurately reported on.
  • Drive the candidate experience forward by keeping recruiters, hiring managers, and interviews accountable to maintaining our recruiting process.
  • As a key member of the People Team, work to elevate the people experience at Arch, for candidates and employees alike.

At Arch, we are growing fast, and our People Team is growing fast with it. This is where we expect you'll be spending most of your energy right away. If you are excited about the opportunity to play a key role in elevating the candidate experience and want to grow with us, we'd love to hear from you.

What You Will Bring:

While we have an idea of the skills and experiences that will make you successful in this role, we value diversity of thought and do not expect every candidate to check every box. However, we would be delighted if you possess:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a recruiting related or adjacent role, including using an ATS
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently via email, Zoom, text, and other platforms with a diverse group of people
  • Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Confidence to have difficult conversations, including providing feedback with honesty and humility
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • A passion for the employee and candidate experience and the drive to be the voice for candidates at Arch

Why Join Us:

You will have the opportunity to make a major impact on the recruiting process, candidate experience, and overall company culture. You will be joining a fast-growing startup where you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow with the company. Your manager, Erika Kavanagh, our Head of People, is dedicated to helping our employees grow professionally.

We believe that work-life balance is critical, especially in a global company like ours. Therefore, we offer flexible working hours, a Flexible Time Off policy, and a fully remote work environment.

Interview Process:

We understand the application and interview process can be stressful, so we aim to make the experience as transparent as possible. Here is what you should expect during the interview process:

  1. Application Review. Each application will be reviewed by a person, including the answer to the question: “Please briefly (200 words or less) explain why you would be excellent in this position.” This is your chance to show off and stand out.
  2. Phone Interview. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you, your background, and your experience. We'll also discuss the role and answer any questions you may have.
  3. Zoom Interviews. During this series of interviews, you will meet with potential colleagues to discuss your experience and the role in more details. Interviews will include:
  4. Head of People
  5. Recruiter
  6. Engineering Manager
  7. Senior People Operations Associate
  8. Skills Assessment. We may ask you to complete a skills assessment to showcase your abilities. This will take no longer than one hour to complete.
  9. Reference Checks. We will ask for your permission to contact at least three references to learn more about your past work experience and how best to set you up for success.
  10. Offer. If we determine that you are the right fit for the role, we will extend a job offer. We work hard to provide you with a transparent and competitive compensation package

Remote Equal

This is an opportunity to join our remote-equal team from anywhere in the world, though preference will be given to candidates located in EST. While a majority of our team is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have team members in the US and Europe and welcome applicants based anywhere in the world. US applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor a Visa at this time.

How We Support You:

  • Competitive compensation packages that include equity - be an owner in what you're building!
  • Generous health benefits - 100% of employee premiums and 80% of dependents
  • Paid parental leave
  • 401(k) plan with company matching
  • Flexible Time Off: take the time you need, including an end-of-year break and expect that all Arch-itects take at least one additional (consecutive) week off each year to recharge in addition to local holidays and religious observances
  • We have an ambitious and clear vision of how you can be a part of transforming the manufacturing supply chain and building next generation IoT technology
  • Our team is highly motivated and experienced, with a wealth of relevant domain expertise and industry connections
  • You will have the ability to deploy your work and solve cutting edge problems with Fortune 500 customers and nonprofit developing world partners alike
  • Our Learning & Development budget will allow you to continue growing in not only your function, but in any way that relates
  • We trust in your ability to do your best work when and where you want and to set expectations with your team
  • You will consistently have the opportunity to challenge yourself, be nurtured, and grow in a highly dynamic environment, with:
  • A culture that welcomes and encourages autonomy, ownership, and transparency; allowing you to make, learn from, and teach others in your “failures” as much as your successes
  • Potential to travel to regular Arch Summits, when it is safe to gather again in-person
  • A culture of diversity of thought and background with many languages and nationalities across the team

Compensation

We benchmark our compensation against market rates in the San Francisco Bay Area and use a compensation formula that includes a location factor to determine total target compensation. At Arch, total target compensation may comprise base salary, a completion bonus, and a performance bonus. The total compensation band for this role is $40,000 - $65,000 USD and a final offer will be dependent on location and experience.

Employees in the US can expect generous benefits for themselves and their dependents as well as equity in the company.

Applicants outside the US will be considered to become employees of one of our trusted partners and will receive benefits through them as well as NQSOs from Arch Systems.

Resumes must be submitted in English

We encourage interested and enthusiastic applicants to apply and not allow imposter syndrome to self-select out of an opportunity. We believe in hiring people as their full and authentic selves, allowing them to utilize their strengths and then helping them to learn, grow, and add to those strengths.
