As the owner of our Design Systems, you will be joining a growing team on a mission to empower the world to build wealth through modern real estate investing. You'll work at the intersection of design and engineering, driving both decisions that directly impact the design and code quality of Arrived products. You'll be asked to collaborate with designers and product teams from across the company to design systems, components, and tools that raise the quality and consistency of Arrived's product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Create a unified, cohesive set of UX and visual guidelines for all of Arrived's mobile & web products
• Plan strategically as a partner with engineering, product and brand to define the future of design systems at Arrived
• You enjoy socializing a design system across an internal organization. You care about partnering and collaborating through documentation, office hours, and pairing with fellow designers
• You can design flexible and efficient components that can be built to grow across several teams
• You have experience building clear processes of how to support partner teams in adopting and contributing to the design system
• You have a technical understanding of how to design across multiple breakpoints, devices, and locales, and can bridge the gap between design and code
• You are a Figma power-user
• You understand your way around code, even if a basic level
• You're passionate about creating inclusive, accessible products
• You have experience creating engaging illustrations, icons and animations that bridge the brand identity, user experience and business needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working in Product Design field
• 1+ years of experience working on design systems
• Experience designing on multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android, etc)
• Highly proficient with current design and prototyping tools (Figma, etc)
• Excellent presentation and documentation skills
• Excellence in visual design / Brand craft
• Ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team
• Excited about working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• You consider the entire customer workflow (not just as it relates to your product)
• A sense of humor. You welcome feedback, and when you stumble you get back up. You adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and you feel an inherent need to grow and learn
• You have built, or are committed to building, a diverse and inclusive product team
• You have experience designing for consumer-facing products, financial services applications, or e-commerce
