Job Details

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for attracting and sourcing the best possible talent for the studio. This role is key to ensuring that we have the right level of artists to deliver projects successfully across the studio.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take a hands-on approach to recruitment and become involved in a team which is continually looking for new and improved ways of attracting talent to the studio. This role is suited to someone looking for a longer-term, growth position, with an opportunity to contribute to the studios continued success.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an in house role and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for the full recruitment life cycle including sourcing, interviewing, offer, negotiation and supporting in the onboarding of artists.

Candidates who are working remotely would be required to work core studio hours within UK time zone.

Responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle recruiting for designated departments
  • Find the best talent for our open roles through utilising industry specific job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter and industry knowledge
  • Expert on designated department teams, working closely with the crew team on identifying the top talent, rising stars and ensuring that the split between senior/junior artists is fair across all projects
  • Ensure that every candidate has an excellent interview experience regardless of the outcome
  • Build relationships with active and passive candidates, as well as hiring managers
  • Education outreach to support with internships, mentorship programme and ensure Axis has a strong graduate talent pipeline
  • Expert at using our ATS Breezy; ensuring candidate availability is up-to-date & training new managers
  • Support the Marketing team to ensure roles are advertised on all relevant websites & job boards
  • Support with creating a strong employer brand, highlighting the studio culture and values
  • Attending industry events to keep up to date with latest developments and promoting Axis Studios as an Employer of Choice
  • Continually look for new and innovative methods the talent team could utilise to attract talent
  • Contribute to the wider talent team helping to achieve long-term goals and projects
  • Work closely with the Crew Team, Studio Team and wider studio management to ensure the talent team is consistently meeting studio needs

Requirements

  • Experienced in full-lifecycle recruiting
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work with people across multiple departments
  • Experienced at negotiating and closing offers
  • Passionate about the Animation industry
  • Able to thrive in a pressured environment where schedules can change quickly and fast results are expected
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experienced as an in-house recruiter
