About the role

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve company sales goals and targets in the Philippines and ASEAN market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying their needs and offering appropriate solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive activities, and propose strategies to capitalize on them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, OEM-partners and delivery, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, generate reports, and present findings to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Stay updated on industry developments, market conditions, and competitors' activities to stay ahead of the curve and adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote Bahwan CyberTek's or OEM Partner’s products and services and expand the company's presence in the Philippines market
  • Provide regular training and coaching to the sales team, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities

Ideal candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field. An MBA would be an advantage
  • 8-12 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in Digital Procurement platforms (Coupa, Ariba, iValua etc) would be an advantage
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales role, preferably in the SaaS software/services company
  • Ability to grasp SaaS technologies and understand and sell the company's/partners niche IP product offerings will be key
  • Strong knowledge of the Philippines market, including key industries, customer segments, and competitors
  • Must have good experience in developing GTM strategy for new Geos
  • Should have handled large strategic clients in Philippines and ASEAN independently
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients at all levels. Good proposal development and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret sales data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities
  • Result-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools
  • Prior experience of independently pursuing large public-sector tenders and RFPs as well as building relationships to secure sole-sourced private deals is necessary
  • Exhaustive experience across the sales cycle mandatory: lead identification, prospecting, solution design, bid management, pricing, contract negotiation, delivery liaison, post-award monitoring, collections and client relationship management
  • This role will carry a quarter-on-quarter sales target and direct responsibility (where the incumbent will have to support the sales head) for achieving numbers
  • The incumbent will also need to handle key sectors and accounts, sales administration, market research and provide project delivery-related support
  • Must develop good relationship with OEM vendors such as TIBCO, Coupa, Zycus, IBM
  • As it is a lean team, the candidate must be a hunter capable of finalizing deals independently

Ms. Hind Bahwan is involved in and has served on the Boards of a variety of public and private organizations. She is on the Board of the Harvard Business School Middle East and North Africa Board (MENAAB) which helps in incorporating a global perspective into the School’s work and curriculum. She is a Member of the Middle Centre Advisory Board of the London School of Economics, a Member of the Middle East Advisory Board of Coutts & Co., and a Board Member of the Family Business Network (FBN) for GCC. She is also the Chairman of the Omani French Friendship Association.


She had served as a Member on the Middle East Advisory Board of the Deutsche Bank and on the board of Oman’s Public Authority for Social Insurance. She had previously chaired the Oman Chapter of Young President’s Organization (YPO). 


Ms. Bahwan is a recipient of many honors including the Legion Of Honor Award From France’s Ambassador to the Sultanate Of Oman in 2019, Ernst & Young’s ‘Oman’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2000’, Arabian Business ‘e-Achiever of the Year’ award from H.H.
