To help Booksy capitalize on the massive opportunities ahead, we are currently looking for a US HR Manager to join us!

Context on the role

Building on our success, we are looking for an experienced driven US Group HR Manager to join our management team at Booksy. The HR team plays a key role in the expansion and success of Booksy.

You will work closely with the US Country Manager and global HR team to ensure all HR processes, employment matters and development are to the highest standard. Working closely with US managers you will support and coach individuals to identify appropriate solutions for HR matters across the business.

Requirements

What you’ll do

  • Being the first and main point of contact for all HR related issues and matters.
  • Provide advice, support, coaching and mentoring on all aspects of people management, including, but not limited to, disciplinaries, attendance & performance management grievances etc.
  • Hold and manage regular meetings with department heads to present HR analysis and structure, process changes
  • Manage a small team of recruitment, onboarding/training, administrative professional, holding PDP development plans and one-on-ones
  • Supervising recruiters and their delivery on recruitment target
  • Supporting training and onboarding team department across the organization
  • Full management of all HR Tools and management software - Officevibe, Bamboo HR, etc.
  • Assisting with all onsite communication activities and initiatives
  • Participate and support in all global HR initiatives and projects
  • Produce and enforce month end reports to enhance and support in HR matters
  • Assist in developing and implementing new processes within Booksy and global HR
  • Coach, challenge and support managers on people related matters including, compensation, performance and talent development

Who you are

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in HR, ideally in an international or start up environment
  • Previous experience in a Tech or start-up environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Passion for people and business
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across various functions and countries
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach with ability to work independently and focus on getting things done
  • Previous experience working with global teams
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances
  • Passion for Business and People
  • Knowledge of US and international Employment Law

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in a Tech or start-up environment
  • Office management, finance management is advantageous
  • Experience using Officevibe and BambooHR
  • Working across global HR teams
  • Project management experience
  • Computer skills, with an extensive knowledge of Google Drive
  • Previous experience managing a team of individuals
  • Strong business acumen and willingness to experience in working alongside different business functions
