Job Description


We are seeking a Data Analyst for a 12-month contract (with the option to extend further) in Denver, CO. This role is for candidates who can work remotely for residents of Colorado. This role will ask for the selected candidate to reside in Colorado due to program regulations. This role will be responsible for the transformation of raw data into actionable information that departments will use to improve case management activities. This position uses data management software/applications such as MS Excel, TOAD, and SharePoint to complete the required work.


Primary Job Responsibilities


  • Pull down Protected Health Information (PHI) data from Department interface files.
  • Cleanse, organize, and analyze the PHI data based on member affiliation to vendors contracted by the Department.
  • Ensure the files are complete, current, and stored securely and appropriately.
  • Provide training and technical assistance for users accessing the files.
  • Present complex technical information on file access processes, data file design, and data exchange information, in a way that can be understood by audiences of varying technical mastery.
  • Maintain user-friendly files and provide actionable information.
  • Implement different types of data provision, presentation, and visualization using applications like MS Excel.


Qualifications

  • Experience with Data analysis
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Expertise in MS Excel and MS SharePoint/Teams.

This contract role will start off as a 12-month contract, with a strong chance for contract extensions, and can work remotely for candidates who reside in Colorado. This role will ask for the selected candidate to reside in Colorado due to program regulations.
