Exciting opportunity to break into the world of data engineering at Creative Force!

We're looking for an energetic, technical, hands-on and meticulous junior data engineer to join our 100% remote team and strengthen our data engineering capacity.

Reporting to and guided by our DataOps manager, you'll be tasked with developing and maintaining data pipelines and integrations as well as maintaining and assisting in the development of our data lake and infrastructure.

Role requirements

  • Design, deploy and optimise all aspects of data pipelines, data lakes and data warehouses
  • Translate complex business concepts & reporting needs into data warehousing models
  • Publish and maintain documentation, data dictionaries and best practices
  • Optimise ETL & reporting processes and capabilities with an emphasis on security, accuracy, and extensibility while minimising latency
  • Implement automated data validation / QA processes to ensure 100% accuracy in reporting outputs and foster trust across all teams

Essentials

  • Located anywhere in Asia Pacific
  • Proficient in Python and SQL (additional languages are a plus!)
  • Computer science, a related degree or demonstrable experience is a must
  • Experience building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with data integration tools and APIs
  • Comfortable with structured and unstructured data
  • Knowledge of data engineering, management, and storage principles
  • Detail oriented
  • Passion for data!
  • English fluency is a must
