As a Quality Assurance Analyst I, you will:

  • Develop and maintain test cases
  • Execute testing on agile development teams
  • Participate in systems acceptance testing phases
  • Assist in preparation for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Communicate with business/systems analysts and developers to understand system requirements
  • Identify and report issues in a bug tracking system (Jira)
  • Provide status reports and regular updates to the project manager or product manager
  • Maintain QA and product documentation for your projects
  • Perform initial triage on reported issues and work with developers and product team members to document resolutions

Requirements

This job might be for you if you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT); Management Information Systems (MIS); Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT); Computer Science (CS); Editing, Writing, and Media (EWM); or other related technology or communication fields
  • Have a fundamental understanding of quality assurance, IT, database, and software development concepts
  • Frequently use Atlassian, MS Office, and/or Google Docs applications
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Can confidently pass rigorous fingerprint-based state and federal background screenings, as required by the nationwide agencies we work with (mandatory)
  • Are able and available to work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
  • Do not require sponsorship to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Are comfortable working remotely both autonomously and within a team
