We are currently looking for a wonderful Senior QA Tester to join our Lively team. We’re based in Leamington Spa but we are fully supportive of remote working and happy to enable whatever blend of home and office best empowers you and your work.

A Senior QA Tester at Lively:

• Maintains and improves the bug database.
• Creates and maintains test plans.
• Develops and implements testing standards and procedures.
• Provides constructive and qualitative feedback to the development team.
• Enters detected defects into the bug database, and gathers relevant data needed to correctly debug issues.
• Regression & rechecks of fixes issues.
• Works in the game engine to evaluate performance.
• Mentors and trains junior team members.
• Establishes software quality standards for the life cycle of the product in conjunction with the development team.
• Documents and analyses test results and make recommendations to improve overall quality.

Requirements:

• Worked with game engines in a development environment.
• Experience with test management tools (Hansoft, Confluence, etc).
• Used a wide range of test software tools.
• Managed deadlines and scoped out workload.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Problem-solving/analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• 2+ years of QA experience with video games.
• Self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality projects through to completion.
• A keen interest in computer games, with the ability to familiarise myself with game-play elements quickly.

Please let us know if you also have:

• Associated Degree.
• ISTQB Certification.
• Good knowledge of disconnection testing with mobile titles.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Worked on a mobile title in development.
• Experience using game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc)
• Knowledge of test automation and automation tools.
