Job Details

At Eppo, we are building the future of AB experimentation, so that every company can have an entrepreneurial, customer oriented culture. We dramatically lower the overhead of running experiments by automating all of the experiment operations work that typically get pushed to analytics teams, and wrapping the results in collaborative workflows that give confidence in the results.

We have had incredible early market traction, and have sold the product concept 5 times before writing a line of code. We've raised a competitive seed round led by Amplify, and have founders of Looker, Optimizely, and Webflow as angel investors. The CEO previously built experimentation systems at Airbnb and Webflow, and now wants to democratize the experimentation capabilities seen at Airbnb, Netflix, and Facebook to the broader market.

About the Role

This role is for a senior product designer who can go from discovery to release. You will be involved with strategy, vision, user research, interaction design, user flows, visual design, prototyping, and working closely with engineering to ship with the highest quality.

This person will also help us define the design principles, systems, and processes that will set the foundations for the design culture at Eppo.

About You

We are looking for someone who can operate in ambiguously defined problem areas, and bring quality and delight to the design of our product.

Here are some of the skills and attributes we are looking for:

Attributes
  • Empathetic: You understand both technical needs and emotional needs of our customers.

  • Systems thinker: You think about how people and processes work together and you’re able to simplify the complexity.

  • Ownership mindset: You thrive on autonomy and owning a project from start-to-finish. The quality of your work and the impact of what ships is a part of how you measure success.

  • Tenacious: You hold a high bar for customer experience and our design brand. You make sure that design is a significant stakeholder in our product process.

Skills
  • You are able to clearly communicate your rationale behind design and product decisions both internally and externally.

  • You can produce high-fidelity mocks and think comprehensively to cover flows and edge cases to help with engineering velocity.

  • You are comfortable with user research methodologies and have conducted user interviews and usability testing.

  • You are versed in prototyping your work (we use Figma).

  • You can self-direct and prioritize your work.

Plus, but not required
  • You have experience working on enterprise B2B tools, especially data tooling

Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Compensation
