FileCloud, (an Austin, TX, USA based company) is looking for a Pre-Sales Linux Solutions Engineer based out of Europe to help our customers understand what is possible with our products. This role is remote and will require working remotely with other team members.

We are currently expanding our team as we grow and improve FileCloud.


Responsibilities:

  • Be the technical lead in customer engagements in partnership with the sales team to gain technical fit through a consultative sales approach
  • Apply business knowledge and technical ability to create state-of-the-art solutions to help enterprises secure their sensitive data
  • Design and implement prototypes and proof of concepts based on customer expectations, conceptualize the target architecture for client requests and set the foundation for future client projects
  • Demo the FileCloud product and expertly discuss the technical capabilities of the platform
  • Assist with RFPs, InfoSec questionnaires and answer ad hoc questions from prospects
  • Give in-depth technical advice around the FileCloud ecosystem and stay up to date with new releases and features
  • Write Knowledge Base documents, update support documentation & white papers


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of technical selling and/or implementation roles in technology companies
  • Strong Experience with Linux Administration and troubleshooting is required. Knowledge of different Linux distros including Ubuntu, Red Hat is a plus
  • Experience and ability to speak to customers and explain a solution
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and works with little or no supervision
  • Genuinely passionate about helping others takes ownership and pride in their job
