Job Summary

You will be working on building a modern microservice platform for accounting and finance management for one of our clients. You will closely collaborate with a product manager, UX designer, engineers and customers to define and validate new features and enhancements.

It will be you will make sure that it is successfully delivered while at the same time you will be taking responsibility for creating a future-proofed project architecture. Your team and clients will need to know they can rely on you. You will also have an active role in supporting the team in building maintainable, efficient code.

Your mission on the team will also consist of working closely with innovative thinkers with experience on worldwide projects and guide them so that you ensure the best possible quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications is achieved. Your proactivity and strategic thinking will always be a must.

Requirements

• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Proficiency in SQL database design and interaction
• Knowledge of RESTful API principles and conventions
• Ability to understand, recognize and properly implement software design principles and patterns
• Proficient in Event-driven architecture, microservices, and cloud design patterns
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Strong desire to stay on top of the latest developments in web technologies
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Implement microservice endpoints using Python with asyncio or Java with Vert.x, PostgreSQL, and anything else you need to get the job done
• Experience with using cloud services providers
