Preparation of Costs and Budgets: 

• Develop detailed preliminary budgets for solar energy projects, including: 
• Wiring and electrical components. 
• Mounting structure systems. 
• Inverters and solar panels. 
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure material specifications and quantities are accurate. 
• Provide clear, disaggregated cost estimates that meet the project's financial objectives and parameters. 

Procurement and Supplier Management: 

• Search and get competitive quotes from Local and international suppliers for all necessary materials and services. 
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and timely availability of materials. 
• Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers and contractors, including installers, continuously evaluating their performance. 
• Monitor market trends and supplier prices to ensure the procurement of high-quality materials at the best price. 

Integration with Accounting Systems: 

• Prepare budgets and cost data for integration into the accounting and inventory system QuickBooks Desktop. 
• Work closely with the accounting team to update inventory levels, pricing, and procurement records. 
• Ensure accurate and timely updates to reflect changes in inventory and project needs. 

Collaboration and Reporting: 

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather all the details needed for budget planning and procurement. 
• Generate and submit comprehensive reports on costs and procurement activities to management, including: 
• Budget updates. 
• Material costs. 
• Supplier performance. 
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve costing and procurement processes. 

• Proven experience in Costing and procurement of solar projects, including sourcing local and international suppliers. 
• Proficiency in budgeting software and related tools, with strong experience in QuickBooks Desktop. 
• Detailed knowledge of solar energy systems, including inverters, mounting structures, panels, and electrical materials. 
• Excellent negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills. 
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and vendors. 
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
