Job Description

For our customer who is leading social media provider we are looking for a front-end developer with strong design and build skills, who (in addition to typical scope of work for front-end part) is able to can dive a bit deeper into the software/product stack.                                                                       

The project is about designing and implementation of a tool to analyze the information gathered by automated testing system. Currently we develop web interface presenting all issues found by the testing framework.

A successful candidate in this role is self-driven, creative and doesn’t mind delving into different areas of the stack. This person will take initiative and should be willing to execute consistently in an agile, fast-paced environment.

We work in Scrum's 2-week sprints, rotate & mix so everyone knows the whole system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new features, test and put the platforms into production.
• Work closely with a Product Owner to create user-friendly user interfaces
• Consistently write effective code that is stable, secure, scale-able and efficient.
• Improve functionality of existing systems and help reduce tech debt through lessons learned and incremental improvements
• Internationalization (i18n) of the new and existing software

Qualifications

Must-have skills:

• React.js - good knowledge
• Python - professional experience
• Android ecosystem/ Android SDK - good knowledge
• PHP/Hack - good knowledge or willing to learn

The following skills will be a plus:

• Thrift service
• Buck build
