Job Details

As an experienced HR Advisor you will be confident to support Senior Management and the wider business on a wide variety of HR, becoming a trusted advisor for management and the whole employee population.

This is a great opportunity for a talented HR Advisor to build on your HR career. You will broaden your understanding of the full employee journey and all the administrative and advisory work running alongside onboarding, development, wellbeing, communication, culture and our regular calendar of projects, such as annual performance appraisal and mid-year reviews and promotion cycle.

  • Responding to day-to-day queries about people policies and processes
  • Support hiring managers and advise for continuous improvement of the recruitment process across all divisions in the business using various techniques and recruitment platforms such as Workable
  • Help drive recruitment activity across all departments using a combination of job boards, referrals and agencies
  • Be responsible for the induction process
  • Manage Employee Relation issues
  • Implement and develop HR policies and procedures that align with current legislation and updates/changes to company strategy
  • Support on the implementation and review of company benefits
  • Ensuring payroll is maintained
  • Support managers with performance management procedures and processes
  • Working with our HR systems (PeopleHR & Appraisd and Workable) to ensure we maximise our use of these platforms.


Requirements


Experience of working in an HR Advisor role. You should be confident and competent to:

  • Interpret and advise on people policies and processes including ER issues, recruitment and selection processes and all other aspects of the employee life cycle
  • Supporting the end to end recruitment process
  • Research issues, problems and trends and make recommendations
  • Use HR Systems to produce reports and analyse data
  • Contribute to projects providing administrative support, designing project plans and collating information and feedback
  • Engage with managers to provide pragmatic advice and produce timely, good quality information to inform objective decision making
  • Recognise best practice approaches and demonstrate good understanding of key employment legislation
  • Deliver work to a consistently high standard with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
