About the Role

  • The primary purpose of the People and Culture Officer is to assist the COO's office in managing the recruitment requirements of the business as well as the people's operational needs.
  • The People and Culture Officer will work closely with the Executive Team to assist in defining roles, responsibilities and requirements as well as finding ways to attract the right talent. The outcomes of this role directly impacts the company's culture, strategies and revenue growth.


This role will include working with HR teams in Australia, The Philippines and The USA


Role responsibilities range in nature and complexity, with key components including:

  • You will manage the HR functions for The Outsourced Doers.
  • You will lead the recruitment, onboarding and induction of new team members as well as manage exit interviews.
  • You will provide HR support and advice to the Exec team and be the first point of contact for HR queries.
  • A strong focus of the role is recruiting experts and expanding the pipeline of talent.
  • You will embed strong HR, People and Culture practices and procedures into the organisation.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring HR details are kept current and various HR metrics are tracked and reported to ensure a positive team culture is nurtured and maintained.

What You've Done


The following experience is required (or in some cases desired) for this role:

  • 4+ years of experience in an internal recruitment role with a strong personal network of recruitment agency contacts and top Sydney-based talent.
  • At least 3-5 years exposure to broader HR function.
  • Experience in working a fast-growth tech or online start-up
  • Proven experience in growing teams rapidly from <30 to >200
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll applications.
