We are now looking to employ an Onboarding Coordinator to join our HR Administration team in Dudley. The successful candidate will improve retention of new employees to the business by providing support to new starters within the Rentokil Pest Control business and ensuring they have a seamless transition into their new role and settle into the organisation well.
The candidate we’re looking for will be working on the following;
- Engaging with successful candidates once an offer of employment has been made.
- Supporting the hiring manager to ensure that the operational teams are ready to welcome the employee to the organisation:
- Confirm induction arrangements
- Ensure all appropriate PPE and Uniform is available upon commencement
- Ensure all appropriate IT Equipment and Log in details are available upon commencement.
- To liaise between HR Administrators and New Employee with regard to all documentation required by both parties to ensure transactions are concluded in a timely manner both prior to commencement and during the early part of the employment lifecycle.
- To maintain contact with the employee at regular intervals during the first three months of employment to support them in any way possible, help to resolve any issues they may have and generally establish how they are feeling about the role and the organisation.
- To monitor and encourage completion of new starter questionnaires.
- To collate management information to identify any recurring trends.
- To assist the first line management team to seek solutions to recurring trends to help improve retention of new employees
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- HR Administration or Onboarding experience
- Experience working with HR databases. Workday is preferred but not essential
- Educated to A level or equivalent
- I.T Literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint is essential
- A full understanding of Company Policies and Procedures
- Good initiative and judgement skills
- Team player
- Customer Focus: excelling at customer service & able to build rapport
- Communication skills: both verbal and written are essentia
