As a Full Stack Engineer, you will focus on developing, building and maintaining infrastructure for business-client-facing applications and Shippabo API. Additionally, you will collaborate with a team of focused and talented engineers to apply your technical expertise and knowledge in order to provide real-world value.

Requirements:

• 4+ years in software development
• Tech start-up experience is highly preferred
• Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3
• Skilled in technologies, trade-offs, and design patterns emerging in web services
• Possess a strong understanding of node and Javascript (ES6/7 features, tooling)
• Experience with React or similar frameworks
• Proven ability to break down problems and push for standardization and abstraction
• Solid understanding of testing (stubbing, functional unit, integration, and e2e)
• Passion for high quality, elegant, tested code with an aim to delight users

Responsibilities:

• Own your work from designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
• Break down epics and author tasks for a user story or complete feature set
• Gather, verify and educate others on technical requirements
• Develop technical designs for yourself and others as required
• Collaborate on multiple projects/features concurrently
• Theme and style components for multiple platforms
• Separate problems into abstractions and concerns to reduce code complexity
• Discover and share lessons learned and best practices
