Job Description

• Build infrastructure to power our customer-facing and internal analytics portals
• Build infrastructure to enable evaluation and reporting on product experiments
• Create secure patterns/practices for data systems
• Develop data quality monitoring systems to verify processing integrity
• Design and implement new backend features within an existing codebase
• Participate in the on-call rotation, investigate and resolve production issues

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional, backend software development experience with 1+ years working on data systems
• Excellent command of SQL and data modeling techniques
• Experience building synchronous and asynchronous workload systems
• Able to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly
• Experience working with complex, highly-interconnected data models
• Experience building data processing pipelines and ETL workflows

Bonus Skills:

• Experience working in multi-tenant data environments
• Experience with Fivetran, dbt, AWS-based infrastructure, Snowflake, Tableau, and/or Amplitude
• Experience building configuration-driven systems
• Experience developing within SOC2 security standards
• Demonstrated attention to detail

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience.
