• Build customer facing technology product for global customers
• Design and develop end to end applications with very high quality
• Partner with multiple Product Owners and/or teams to document business needs/requirements and associated processes
• Abstract away complex data interactions with easy-to-use APIs that will power web applications
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and develop a deep understanding of the start-up ecosystem
• Develop a sense of ownership and the zeal to build scalable applications
• Understand the market and participate in product roadmap discussions
• Work with business users to translate requirements into system flows, data flows, data mappings etc., and develop solutions to complex business problems

Note: This is a remote role.

• 2 to 5 years of development experience working with Ab Initio technology stack
• Must have Experience in Ab Initio’s GDE(PDL, MFS concepts, basic components) ,EME basics 
• Should have understanding of how AbInitio applications and systems interact with the underlying hardware ecosystem
• Should have Knowledge on Jenkins and CICD concepts. Knowledge on scheduling tool like Autosys and Control Center
• Experience to build systems that involve batch as well as continuous data processing at scale
• Experience in parallel processing and MFS/partitioning concepts
• Strong working knowledge with SQL, shell scripting and databases like Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Hadoop/hive, Postgres, etc.
• Good to have exposure with Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark, NiFi
• Good to have experience with stream processing engines like Kafka, Spark, etc.
• Love technology and have a knack for picking the right set of tools for the job at hand
• Expected to produce HLD & LLD, perform unit testing & collect testing artifacts, create job schedules & provide 3rd level support
• Strong concepts of Data Structures & Algorithms and a passion for coding
• Good to have Data processing experience with open source tools like spark, airflow, etc
• Good to have experience with Cloud Data technologies with any cloud provider viz. GCP,AWS or Azure
• Good to have working experience on Ab Initio’s CIP & Metadata Hub
