• Infrastructure Management: Design and manage highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure and networking for distributed systems.
• Configuration Management: Utilize tools like Terraform, Chef, or Ansible for configuration management.
• Application Refactoring: Continuously refactor applications to ensure high-quality design.
• Troubleshooting & Deployment: Troubleshoot production issues and streamline code deployment with development teams.
• Automation Implementation: Implement and manage automation tools and frameworks, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaboration: Work with team members to address functional and non-functional requirements, aligning with design philosophy and goals.
• Architecture Optimization: Optimize computing architecture for better performance and efficiency.
• Testing & Monitoring: Conduct system tests for security, performance, and availability.
• Error Reduction: Build tools to reduce errors and improve the customer experience.
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed root cause analysis for production errors.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3–5 years as a DevOps Engineer, with at least 1 year on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong expertise in Linux/Unix Administration and Kubernetes.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD.
• Skilled in monitoring tools (e.g., GCP, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Expertise in network configuration and cloud optimization.
• Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.

Programming Skills:

• Proficient in scripting languages like Node.js, Python, and Go.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong Bash scripting skills with robust troubleshooting abilities in networking and infrastructure contexts.
• Solid experience with software-automation systems like Jenkins and Selenium.
