• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results
• Manage and develop the finance team, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Partner with teams outside of finance to design and execute a longer term strategy on controls ownership and execution, including shifting controls from finance team to the product / business teams
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions and strategic planning
• Manage cash and liquidity to ensure adequate funding for operations and investment opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with banking partners as well as communication with investors, and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage relationships with tax authorities
• Manage financial / external audits and prepare financial statements
• Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be on-site at the firm’s offices in Gurgaon (this is not a remote role)

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• CA / CPA or CMA certification or equivalent preferred; Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and treasury management
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and treasury management, ideally for a company with entities around the world
• You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and taking responsibility to do whatever needs doing to solve problems
• Proven track record of developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls
• You have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; You can work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience managing a team and working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a high growth / VC backed company environment is preferred
