The Manager - Legal and Compliance will own the charter for all Skuad group entities in the LATAM region, covering labour and corporate regulations. You will own the responsibility for all corporate and labor-related matters, provide expert guidance on compliance with local laws, manage statutory filings, obtain registration with authorities wherever applicable, procure and renew necessary licences, etc. Additionally, you will maintain corporate records, manage secretarial matters, draft corporate documents, and ensure adherence to corporate governance practices, standards, and processes, establishing a robust foundation for the organisation's LatAm operations.

What will you do?

• Drive legal and compliance strategy on corporate and labour aspects and provide expert legal advice and guidance for our LATAM entities
• Create compliance calendars/checklists and drive implementation.
• Evaluate risk regarding business decisions and operations; Handle regulatory queries, draft and compile responses
• Procure and maintain licences and corporate records
• Draft and review employment contracts, offer letters, and other employment-related documents
• Handle and resolve employment-related issues including disciplinary actions, terminations, and grievances
• Own, coordinate, and support restructuring initiatives and activities amongst the group companies
• Liaison with external parties (consultants/regulators) to drive the charter.
• Stay updated on changes in labour and employment laws and regulations to ensure necessary compliance
