• Lead and manage a team of talented shared services / operations professionals, ensuring high levels of engagement, productivity, and quality. Together, with your team build solid knowledge and ownership of operational processes
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize shared services processes across the employee life cycle including onboarding, payroll and invoicing with the goal of improving customer satisfaction
• The candidate would support process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with the product teams
• Monitor SLAs and key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to address any areas of concern, while balancing the health and productivity of your team. Simultaneously, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Manage relationships with internal teams and external service providers, globally
• Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team
• Participate in the development of the annual budget and monitor expenses to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints
• Manage and monitor the performance of shared service systems, tools, and technologies, while maintaining sufficient controls and assessing and mitigating operational risks
• Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be on-site at the firm’s offices in Gurgaon (this is not a remote role)

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on payroll, shared services and process optimization
• You have a proven track record of moving metrics and reaching your KPI goals
• You can work independently and have the drive to make things happen
• You have excellent written and verbal English language skills. You are a great communicator and have strong interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of leading teams
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a start-up / high growth organization is a plus
