About the role
Skuad is seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Operations Lead to join our dynamic team. As the HR Operations Lead for APAC, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing our HR functions across multiple countries. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of HR operations, compliance, and process improvement.
- HR Process Optimization: Lead and continuously improve HR processes and operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring they align with Skuad's business objectives. Streamline, automate, and standardize HR processes wherever possible.
- Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in the APAC region. Ensure Skuad's HR practices are in full compliance with local labor laws and industry standards.
- Payroll and Benefits Management: Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration for employees in the APAC region. Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Employee Records and Documentation: Maintain and manage employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Implement a secure and organized document management system.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Design and execute efficient onboarding and offboarding processes for employees. Ensure a smooth and positive experience for new hires and departing employees.
- Performance Management: Support the performance management process, including setting up performance evaluation cycles, goal setting, and performance improvement plans.
- HR Data and Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations for data-driven decision-making and to track key HR metrics.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and conflicts with sensitivity and professionalism. Ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Team Management: Lead and manage the HR operations team, ensuring they are aligned with Skuad's goals and are efficient and effective in their roles.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with HR vendors and partners, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Ideal candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degrees or HR certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in HR operations and management, with a strong focus on the APAC region.
- In-depth knowledge of APAC labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS and other HR technology tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to change and growth.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to HR decision-making.
