About the role

Payroll Processing and Verification:

  • Oversee end-to-end monthly payroll operations across the EMEA region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure timely processing of employee payroll payments (monthly and semi-monthly) through appropriate channels.

Vendor Coordination and Reconciliation:

  • Coordinate with vendor teams to set up processes and review/reconcile payrolls.
  • Track partner and vendor performance, recommending changes or improvements as needed.

Statutory Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of statutory dues, including taxes and social security contributions.
  • Deliver all key documents to employees and authorities on time.

Employee/Client/Internal Team Support:

  • Work with the Finance team to reconcile payments and manage fund bookings for employee/consultant payments.
  • Resolve employee and client queries within established SLA guidelines.
  • Provide necessary knowledge and support to CSM, Sales, and Finance teams for BAU activities.
  • Prepare and validate client-required reports, such as variance, department/location-wise data, and comparative payroll summaries.

Payroll Entity Implementation:

  • Support payroll and entity setup, payroll data testing, and salary calculator setup as needed.
  • Identify and implement payroll process automation initiatives.
  • Understand payroll calculation logic with vendor teams for operational reviews and reconciliation.
  • Track vendor performance, address root causes of issues, and implement preventive measures.
  • Act as the SPOC for internal and external audits.
  • Create and maintain payroll documentation as required.

Ideal candidate

  • Extensive knowledge of payroll processes and practices, including tax and compliance practices.
  • 8–11 years of experience in payroll delivery.
  • Interest in transitions and entity setups across the globe.
  • Proven ability to engage with regulatory bodies and multiple vendors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, employees, and management.
  • Ability to train and develop a global team to achieve key results.
  • Flexibility to work with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk identification, impacts, and corrective actions.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to convey important messages clearly.
  • A go-getter attitude with extreme ownership and accountability.
