About the Job:

Sourcemap is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join their growing development team. You would be joining an enthusiastic and collaborative team of developers in a fully remote position. This role has a strong hands-on component as you would be building and deploying new features to their platform. You would also take part in the development and mentorship of junior team members by sharing best practices and prior experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor team members and perform code reviews (We all enjoy teaching and learning - This is a senior position so we are looking for someone who can impart some wisdom)
• Develop software architecture
• Write, test and maintain software across the stack
• Contribute to engineering best practices and technical documentation
• Manage Azure Environment CI/CD pipeline
• Demonstrate new features to the rest of the Sourcemap team
• Navigate large, unfamiliar code bases (internal and/ or 3rd party)
• Debug issues anywhere in the stack (Current Stack is MEAN - Mongo, Express, Angular, NodeJs)

Desired Experience:

• 5+ years writing production-ready, full-stack code
• 3+ years MongoDB or NoSQL alternative
• Architecture experience (Microservice, AWS management, etc)
• Front End Framework (React, Angular)
• Project Management
• Other experience: Node, Javascript, Git, Debugging
