Spotlight Sports Group is a collection of industry leading companies that specialize in media services and content syndication, with a focus on all major betting sports. The company publishes a daily national newspaper in the UK, runs multiple websites and mobile products globally, alongside operating a large content syndication division. Our US business delivers best in class sports content via Pickswise (the largest US sports betting affiliate launched since online sports betting was legalized) and through partnerships with world leading media organisations.

We're looking for a commercially savvy account manager who loves sports and is passionate about being part of a motivated and driven team.

  • You'll take responsibility for leading the planning and execution of all B2C sales policies with a primary focus on revenue generation across Pickswise and any other B2C assets.
  • Managing and upselling existing partnerships will be a huge part of the role so we're looking for a great relationship manager who will provide our partners with a best in class service.
  • We'll also need you to provide reporting, manage your pipeline, analyse customers and implement market leading sales materials and deliver to deadlines.
  • It'll come naturally to you to set, define and ensure industry leading standards in all sales output such as proposals, sales decks and presentations
  • You'll also be a key representative of the business at relevant trade shows and external events to build valuable, strong relationships, identify new opportunities and develop quantifiable sales opportunities.
  • As part of a great team in the US business you'll enjoy working with others and understand how to operate in a matrix organisation

Requirements

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the sports betting / gaming industry
  • Good insight into how the US sports betting marketplace is evolving and awareness of the latest developments driving change
  • 3+ years of marketing and/or sales account management experience
  • Experience of contracting and management of high spending clients
  • Effective negotiating/influencing skills, proven within a previous role
  • Excellent information gathering skills
  • Highly motivated and committed with a high level of personal achievement
  • The ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate an innovative approach to problem solving and generating new ideas
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Analytical and reporting skills

Benefits

The position is offering a salary of $60-75,000 per year, 13 days annual leave (plus 12 full non-working days and 2 half days), Healthcare contribution and 401K. We also give you your birthday off work. We think we have an amazing working environment and culture and hope you will do too.
