About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced and high energy Senior Account Executive for our growing PR agency! You’ll manage multiple clients driving campaigns and media relations to create brand recognition and awareness for our clients. You will have the ability to draft strategic plans for clients, generate creative ideas and help craft communications campaigns.

You’re a natural-born networker with a superpower for building media relationships. In fact, you make a fast friend out of every editor, producer and reporter you meet, and you have a growing media contact list to prove it! You are detail-oriented, incredibly creative, a strong writer, a team player, lifelong learner and present yourself with an authentic positive attitude in all you do.

Your day to day will include:

  • Extensively researching clients, industries, media contacts/outlets and more
  • Act as the support role for client accounts, ensuring all tracking documents, media monitoring, client-facing documents are completed in a timely manner
  • Participate and lead client calls and email communications, provide regular updates on progress and coordinate all scheduling requests
  • Produce initial drafts of emails, media lists, pitches and other materials for review
  • Quickly and intentionally respond to client’s and manager’s requests
  • Nurture our existing media relationships to continue leveraging ongoing placements
  • Build fresh new relationships with relevant online, print and broadcast media
  • Network with leading podcasts to secure interviews with our clients
  • Create social media strategies for clients’ media placements
  • Support Chief Publicity Officer with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects
  • Train interns and Account Executives on systems and SCM protocols


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years experience in journalism or public relations
  • Media pitching experience a plus
  • Experience creating social media content for a company or personal brand required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with staff, clients, and external partners
  • Eagerness and enthusiasm to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills
  • Ability to conduct research and present information in a succinct and well-written manner
  • Experience with or ability to learn operations software such as Slack, Asana and Propel
  • Familiarity with Google Drive and Google’s suite of tools (e.g., Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently/remote
