About the role

The LDR focuses on being the first touch-point in the customer journey by managing the top-of-funnel leads that are directly obtained through our marketing strategies. This includes assisting with creating and managing our sales funnel frameworks, daily management and scoring of inbound leads using our Zoominfo SalesOS, MarketingOS, Engage, and Netsuite CRM platforms and working closely with the Sales Manager and Head of Growth within the company. 

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Lead Development Representative specializing in top-of-sales funnel management to join our dynamic sales and growth team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our sales funnel strategies and driving our customer acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying, nurturing, and converting leads into sales opportunities to significantly impact our revenue growth.

Assist the sales and growth team with the delivery of sales growth objectives by providing qualified leads and opportunities that eventuate to long-term customers.

The LDR role will link into marketing objectives, sales, and growth managers, sourcing specialists, and quality assurance teams.


What you will do

  • Develop and implement targeted strategies for lead generation and lead nurturing, focusing on optimizing the sales funnel
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align lead-generation campaigns with customer profiles and segmentation strategies
  • Manage and optimize lead scoring models to ensure high-quality lead handover to the sales team
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of lead generation methods and provide insights for continuous improvement
  • Utilise CRM tools to manage lead data, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights
  • Conduct A/B testing on various funnel stages to increase conversion rates
  • Regularly report on funnel performance, including lead conversion rates and the impact on sales revenue

Sales Team Support:

Work directly with the Sales Manager, SDR, and Head of Growth to adopt and deploy new funnel management strategies

Documentation and Filing:

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for sales processes
  • Ensure compliance with record-keeping and documentation requirements

Sales Support Systems:

Using tools such as Zoominfo Marketing OS, Sales OS, Engage, Oracle Netsuite CRM and more to manage through the customer journey


Ideal candidate

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and additional education or certification in business administration is a plus
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a sales or customer support environment that is fast-paced
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong application and tools experience with a focus on data analytics
  • Strong problem-solving skills will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exposure to CRM software, is highly desirable
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on accuracy and results
