The role

We are looking for creative and talented Senior DevOps Developer to join our engineering team. You’ll join a team of highly collaborative, skilled developers and DevOps engineers who thrive on solving problems in innovative ways. We’re looking for teammates who can help not only our agile teams but also Roadmunk as a whole to accelerate its platform aspirations. The best fit for our team is someone who values creativity, adaptability, teamwork, experimentation and shipping frequently.

Technical Stack: Javascript, Python, Kubernetes, CI/CD Tools

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design and Build CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate key processes
  • Participate in a rotating on-call duty to support the application
  • Mentor and collaborate with team members and other staff to further develop a DevOps culture
  • Designing, building and maintaining technical solutions
  • Work with Kubernetes and some of the latest tools to improve on platforms
  • Improving observability of our production platforms
  • Contributing to our monitoring, alerting, and recovery pipelines
  • Help improve security posture of production systems


What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience in architecting scalable solutions in a public cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with building CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with different architectural patterns
  • Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
  • Proficient in writing automated tests, system debugging and secure coding practices
  • Work with Kubernetes and some of the latest tools to improve on platforms
  • Experience with Linux based systems

Additional skills that would be great to have

  • Experience working in a SASS production environment
  • Familiarity with various AWS tools such as EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, RDS
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases especially MongoDB and Postgres
  • Experience working in different product management methodologies
