About the role

This is a critical individual contributor role responsible for the commercialisation of differentiated & innovative digital software products by TVS Digital in the Automotive and Fintech area. This role is responsible for formulating & operationalising the GTM strategy in Indonesia. The individual will be responsible for the sales lifecycle (from lead generation, relationship nurturing, prospecting, demos, proposal, pricing &  contracting) & driving metrics around the pipeline including TCV & ARR in addition to fiscal revenues. In addition to leveraging guidance & support from the leadership team, the sales lead will draw upon help from product & engineering teams to orchestrate sales strategy & execution.  

  • Formulate Indonesia GTM strategy with a specific focus on country & customer segments  recognizing the market & technology trends 
  • Lead generation & qualified pipeline development leveraging own & corporate networks, referrals, external sales partners, and marketing initiatives. Drive opportunity engagement process through qualification, demo, PoC, proposal & contract negotiation process 
  • Develop & nurture client relationships that help drive long-term benefits including client reference ability and market credibility 
  • Ensure tight interlock with product & engineering teams on the proposed solution to address customer pain points through product fit and integration with the customer’s legacy systems 
  • Propose a solution with the right pricing and commercial terms to maximize monetisation while delivering a strong value proposition to the customer 
  • Negotiate the final customer contract to align with the corporate governance requirements while ensuring a fair relationship-focused contract 
  • Ensure proper handover of the opportunity and customer relationship to the product/engineering team for the successful delivery of the contract and long-term success

Ideal candidate

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of work experience in B2B SaaS sales, with preference to  Fintech and/or Marketing Tech background. Candidates with tech and/or business backgrounds are preferred. Automotive and Financial services industry exposure will be an added advantage. 
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales in Indonesia with proven experience in customer-facing (sales or business development) roles 
  • Proven track record of delivering results in sales in SaaS / Software Product environments  
  • Excellent communication skills, customer-facing, and internal stakeholders 
  • Ability to communicate with C-level 
  • Team player - ability to work with multiple stakeholders spread across different locations 
  • Ability to work independently
