About the Role

We are looking for an (Junior) Finance Manager to join our team of highly motivated professionals who are passionate about fighting climate change. As our Finance Manager, you have the chance to help us define and execute the day to day financial responsibilities.

This is a fully remote role.

Main Responsibilities

• Manages bank accounts/cash allocation.
• Sales Ledger - Inputting sales invoices and reconciling to online booking system.
• Purchase Ledger - Inputting supplier invoices and making payments.
• Liaise with senior managers regarding monthly expense returns and credit cards and ensurethat all required receipts are retained and all payments are posted and reconciled on amonthly basis.
• Reporting for Management and Investors on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• Reporting of budget vs. actuals
• Metrics and Dashboards e.g. for reporting SaaS metrics
• Operates generally under a monthly cadence, managing the relationship with theExternal Accountants to ensure month end accounts are delivered in a timely manner.
• Liaising with external accounts on month end reports, VAT return and German PAYE.
• Reconcile balance sheet control accounts monthly.
• Provide monthly reports on overhead expenditure to the Finance Director and SeniorManagement Team.
• Ensures compliance for tax and reporting obligations (managing with accountants)

Who We Are Looking For

• Previous Finance Management experience
• Part Qualified OR Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Proven knowledge of German and English language
• DATEV experience preferable.
