RoleManagement and Finance
How robust are supply chains in this age of globalisation?
Recent experience shows not nearly enough.
In the last year we've seen toilet roll stockpiling at the start of the pandemic...
Semiconductor shortages stopping smartphone or electric car production...
Evidence of Modern Slavery in the fashion industry supply chain...
Myriad shortages caused by the Suez Canal blockage...
Container ships queued outside ports for weeks due to lorry driver shortages...
Warnings of empty Christmas stockings…
An imperative to reach Net Zero.
At Versed AI we're helping companies take action to address these issues with AI-powered supply chain visibility to multiple levels.
Our tech is cutting edge AI (NLP & ML) that surfaces previously-unknown supplier relationships. Our customers use this insight to make better decisions and take meaningful action - improving their supply chain's resilience, environmental and ethical performance.
Spun out from our CTO's PhD research at Cambridge University, we're backed by Founders Factory, Innovate UK, the Royal Academy of Engineering and a member of Tech Nation's Applied AI 2021 cohort.

Manage team access to on-demand office space via our provider
Continually seek to improve the efficiency/effectiveness of the above where it will generate a positive return on investment for the business
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new starters, ensuring compliance with our ISO 27001 policies. This may include writing job descriptions, initial candidate screening, pre-work checks and managing the onboarding process.
Ensure internal HR data is maintained and updated in accordance with job moves/changes, such as end dates, probation periods and holiday entitlements. Provide job change data as an input to the monthly payroll process.
Ensure employees who leave the company are offboarded in accordance with the offboarding process. You will need to work with the Line Manager and the DevOps Engineer.
Support the day to day implementation of ISO 27001, such as updating our supplier register, and new customer onboarding

Pragmatic and resourceful problem solver with a growth mindset
Clear written and verbal communication
A team player who can build relationships with both technical and non-technical teams
An understanding of the purpose of different business functions and their roles in supporting overall business performance.
Comfortable using and quickly adopting different business tools and technologies such as Jira, Miro, Google suite etc. Experience of implementing automations using no-code software e.g. Zapier is a nice to have.
