VetsEZ is seeking an AWS Cloud System Admin to be a part of a remote team. This candidate should have experience in cloud-based technology, with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications. An ideal candidate is able to design, implement, test, and maintain cloud services platforms.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, debug and document software in a variety of programming languages.
• Be familiar with the latest programming languages and technologies.
• Create strategies for developing IT systems and applications.
• Evaluate alternative approaches and select optimal approaches.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in computer science or any other relevant discipline is required.
• At least 3 years of software development experience is required.
• Has experience with AWS technologies including solid understanding of S3, EBS, EC2, EFS, RDS, ECS, IAM, ELB/ALB, VPC, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, KMS, System Manager, Route53, Secrets Manager.
• Working knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and network requirements for cloud to on premise connectivity.
• Experience with orchestration technologies (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.).
• Experience with cloud-based software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, CI/CD, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, Build Automation and Testing, etc.).
• You must have experience in systems management in a cloud-computing environment including the use of virtualization, load balancing, auto-scaling, networked storage, etc.
