We are looking for a Jr. Technical Support Engineer to join our global team of Support professionals.
This successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support measured against SLA for Wowza Media Systems products and services across our customers numerous workflows and deployments.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in media streaming products and services, excellent troubleshooting skills, familiar with networking issues and working with and educating customers at all skill levels. You are a “self-starter” that is hungry to learn and unapologetically obsessed with ensuring customers are successful in their streaming endeavors.
11:00am - 8:00pm MST/ 10:00am - 7:00pm PST
1+ years related experience in the above referenced areas
Prior experience in providing external customer support in a Service Desk environment
Prior experience of working within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills
Familiar with live and on demand video / audio streaming and media players
Experience with troubleshooting networking environments
Experience with some of the different operating systems including but not limited to Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS, Android, and VMWare
Prior Experience with other technologies such as Web Servers (HTTP), Cloud Based Services (AWS, Google, Azure)
Prior experience with Wowza products and services is a plus
Ability to work nontraditional shifts as requested
Ability to work remotely and independently while maintaining productivity metrics
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of our salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.
