About the role

With this role you get an opportunity to work with Airtel Money

• Own and Develop Android features independently with maintainable and modular design
• Create Low level design and flow diagram for the feature under development
• Understand various ongoing / new design practices (like MVVM, Clean Architecture) and making sure to incorporate them during development
• Strive for excellence by doing strong self-test and minimizing the defects before release
• Show sense of urgency and fixing the Issues on reasonable time-frame post release
• Discuss with stake holders for any missing requirement, gaining clarity (discussion with cloud / UX / GUI team etc.)
• Be involved in ongoing innovation activities and tech fests inside / outside the company
• Be experienced in creating/maintaining unit tests including mock objects and unit tests for asynchronous code
• Work with real-time feedback from our users to make the product better
• Discover, design, develop, deploy, debug. Repeat!

Ideal candidate

• 2 – 6 years of experience as a mobile applications developer or senior developer
• At least 2+ years of experience developing large-scale Android applications
• Programming Skills: Kotlin, CoRoutines, Java, dependency injection framework (Hilt/Dagger)
• Design Skills: Strong understanding of Android Architecture and Design and fundamentals (MVVM / MVI, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose etc), Design Patterns, UML
• Good understanding of code versioning/IDE tools: P4, Git, Android Studio
• Prior experience of shipping Android Apps for consumers
• Good to have – Knowledge of Jetpack Compose
• Ability to collaborate and drive results cross-team, in a complex working environment
• Experience working in a cross-functional Agile team and familiarity with continuous integration
• Excellent Logical and analytical abilities
