About the role

With this role you get an opportunity to work with Airtel, one of the largest telecom in the world

• Exposed to the entire development lifecycle as you prototype, create, optimize, test, launch, and refine the Airtel iOS Apps with a maintainable and modular design
• Create a Low-level design and flow diagram for the feature under development
• Understand various ongoing/new design practices (like MVVM, and Clean Architecture) and make sure to incorporate them during the development
• Strive for excellence by doing strong self-tests and minimizing the defects before release
• Show a sense of urgency and fix the Issues in a reasonable time frame post-release
• Discuss with stakeholders for any missing requirement, gaining clarity (discussion with cloud / UX / GUI team, etc.)
• Be involved in ongoing innovation activities and tech fests inside/outside the company
• Be experienced in creating/maintaining unit tests including mock objects and unit tests for asynchronous code
• Work with real-time feedback from our users to make the product better
• Discover, design, develop, deploy, debug. Repeat!

Ideal candidate

• 2 – 6 years of experience as a mobile applications developer or senior developer
• At least 2+ years of experience developing large-scale iOS applications
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Understanding of iOS app architecture and implementation (MVC, VIPER, MVVM)
• Proficient with Swift, Swift UI, and Cocoa Touch and Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Expertise in iOS SDK, XML-JSON Parsing, Firebase, and Location services
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc
• Ability to collaborate and drive results cross-team, in a complex working environment
• Experience working in a cross-functional Agile team and familiarity with continuous integration
• Excellent Logical and analytical abilities
