Role
A blockchain developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and distributing a secure blockchain-based network. Main responsibilities include conducting requirements analysis, creating a blockchain network, and designing blockchain technology around a particular business model.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test various blockchain technologies
- As new tools and technologies are developed, come up with ideas and assist in evaluating potential applications
- Utilizing computer languages and multithreaded coding, creating application features and interfaces
- Secure blockchain applications through integration of new tools
- Keep tab on need of blockchain technologies and cryptographic techniques across cross-functional teams
- Participate in the global blockchain community and work to develop and incorporate the most recent improvement ideas
Requirements
- Experience working as a Blockchain Developer or a similar role
- Strong software development background
- Proficiency in one of the following languages: C++, Java, JavaScript
- In-Depth knowledge of cryptography and blockchain protocols
- Knowledge of concurrency and writing efficient and safe multithreaded code
- Experience in back-end development, algorithms, and data structures
- Familiarity with P2P networks
- Knowledge of various kinds of cyberattacks
Soft Skills
- Good communication and collaborative skills
- Advanced organisational and analytical skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
Bonus
- Experience working with large codebases and open-source projects
- Experience with Ethereum or Bitcoin

Salary Range (in USD)
$72,000 - $200,000 per yearQualifications
