Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining databases, data systems – fixing errors and other data centered problems
• Performing processing and validation on the data subject to analyze and assess its quality
• Utilizing statistical methods to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in large, complicated data sets that may be useful for the diagnosis
• Examining local, national, and international trends that have an impact on the business and the sector
• Helping the data warehouse produce reports, research and insights that improve overall business performance
• Troubleshooting the reports and reporting database environment
• Provide analytical consultation, predictive modeling and solutions to achieve business
• Communicate and articulate insights to key stakeholders through data visualization and presentations that can be consumed by technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• Minimum of X years of work experience as a data analyst or related field
• Proven experience in handling complex data sets managing large scale databases
• Possess strong knowledge of languages like SQL, Python, R, MATLAB
• Experience with visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
• Ability to evaluate current tools and databases and offer software solutions
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS
