Frontend Developer Job Description
Frontend Developer job description will consist of the role, responsibilities, qualifications and technical or soft skills required
Role
Frontend Development requires programmers with a good sense of design. Together with the UI/UX designer, they fill the gap between graphical design and technical implementation by actively participating on both sides and defining both the application's appearance and its functionality.
Responsibilities
- Utilize best practices for web development, create web applications and ensure that app/website works well across multiple devices
- Integrate UI elements with APIs and databases by working with back-end developers, and design features that will improve the user experience
- Write well-designed, testable and efficient front-end code for apps using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ensure brand coherence by monitoring website performance, identifying site usability problems and rectify errors
- Obtain input from users and consumers and create solutions with their help
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer
- Good knowledge of using JavaScript frameworks and JavaScript libraries such as React, Angular, jQuery, Bootstrap
- Basic understanding of SEO principles
- Proficiency with CSS preprocessors such as Sass, Less, or Stylus
- Familiarity with layout aesthetics and graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Figma
- Woking knowledge of various Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress, HubSpot, Joomla
- Ability to conduct browser testing and debugging
